July 27, 2005 journal, a quick trip to Myrtle Beach with the temperature over 100 degree.

If one can get out of town inspite of all the highway reconstruction with the closing roads.

The reassessment of property value is about to be mailed out to the unfortunate property owners which is coded so that they do not know how much the real estate taxes will be.

The government is determined to own your home by higher taxes based on current land selling prices which has nothing to do with one's ability to pay, it is a mere advantage, as in taking the advantage of you and your right to own a home.   It is socialism multiplying. Meanwhile fat proliferates in people whom I notice on the streets and in the restaurants all broken down but still eating that processed homogenizing hydrogenated foods loaded with sweet tea and MSG preservative and often listed on label as natural flavoring.   Splenda is

the order of the day and nobody listens to any reason as to why they should not consume it. People love to be conned and conned they are but it is at their own expense and costly.

From the Times Examiner a letter to the editor "Recently Congress is drafting a bill to apologize to black people who had atrocities committed against them during the 18 & 19 hundreds and mostly committed by white Americans from the north and south. When you open this can of worms, you open a lot of unanswered questions about the atrocities com-mitted against Southern Americans by the federal government, i.e. invading the south, kill- ing innocent civilians, and stealing land owned by Southern Americans and giving some of it away and selling some of it.  Most of leadership in the armies of the south attended U.S. military academies and fought in wars against Mexicans and Indians defending the union and many were wounded and some served in the Congress of America.  Abraham Lincoln and his generals killed thousands other Americans and a lot of these people were civilians but the federal government has never admitted to any of these atrocities.  If the federal government would apologize for these illegal actions, they would be admitting they was wrong to invade the confederate states of America and you can bet that just ain't gonna happen.  Should we have congress to construct a bill to try Abe Lincoln for war crimes, which were committed during the war of Northern aggression against the South? Has the federal government ever apologized for empire building, and strong arming other nations to conform to certain standards?  If the federal government would apologize for its past actions against South, this would go along way in healing old wounds cause by the illegal war of Northern Aggression...... But the federal government is still holding the Southern Americans back as if reconstruction ended in 1878 and the South is still paying homage to the Union.  The South only wanted to be free from a tyrannical government and live free peaceful lives, but the U.S. federal government took all of that away and Southern states are still struggling today to recapture our freedom and receive justice.  By-Thomas H. Mc-Lain, Cameron, South Carolina."   Actually, they need to apologize to the New England states also because they attacked them before they attacked the South for the same reason of secession, New England was withdrawing from the union before it began in the South.

A tyrant was ordering wars then much like we see today going on in the Pentagon.  Our economy is much about the war, the war we are losing.  When will we learn to let God fight our battles?  The new highway bill is estimated to cost $300 million and every year it goes up by about one hundred thousand.  Does this mean that every road will be rebuild and interrupted for years to come.  Cafta has passed but will it make any trade difference?

The blue lights are flashing along the highway as an army of patrol cars are hard working.

This nation is over the hill and being operated by insane lunatics with no common sense.
